Cookie Policy

Effective date: August 25, 2026
Last updated: August 25, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how pam4pa.com uses cookies and similar technologies. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

Our approach in one sentence

This site sets no cookies at all until you make a choice in the cookie banner. Nothing is dropped on your device in advance, and nothing is loaded that you have not agreed to.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site remember something between page loads — for example, that you already answered the cookie banner. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way and are covered by this policy.

Categories we use

Essential

Needed for the site to work and for us to honor your privacy choices. These cannot be switched off, because switching them off is what they record.

Statistics

Set only if you accept them. They tell us how many people visit and which pages are useful, in aggregate. They are provided by Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-W8PQ166KZ3).

Google’s use of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. We have analytics configured so that visits by signed-in Committee staff are excluded.

Administrative

Set only for Committee staff and our web provider when they sign in to manage the site. Ordinary visitors never receive them, because public registration and commenting are turned off.

CookiePurposeDuration

wp-settings-*Remembers editor screen settings1 year

What we do not use

This site does not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, or data brokers. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Third-party content

Some resources on this site load from other companies — web fonts from Google Fonts and Adobe Typekit, and page-builder resources from Elementor. Requests to those services reveal your IP address to them, as any web request does.

When you click a “Donate” link you leave this site for ActBlue, which sets its own cookies under its own policies. We have no control over those.

Changing your mind

You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page. Your new choice takes effect immediately.

You can also control cookies in your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most offer a private browsing mode. Blocking essential cookies may mean the site cannot remember your privacy choices and asks you again on each visit. To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Changes to this policy

If we add or remove a service that sets cookies, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
