Content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, the text, graphics, photographs, layout, and design on this site are owned by the Committee or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You are welcome to quote from and link to this site, including our Fact Cards, with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions of the site as your own, alter our materials in a way that misrepresents our positions, or use our content in paid advertising without written permission.

Contributions
Contributions are processed by ActBlue on ActBlue’s website and are subject to ActBlue’s own terms. Contributions to a political committee are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
By making a contribution, you confirm that:
- The contribution is made from your own funds, not from the funds of another person or entity
- You are not a foreign national who lacks permanent residency in the United States
- You are not a federal contractor prohibited from contributing
- You are using your own personal payment card or bank account, and not one belonging to someone else or to a corporation
- You are of legal age and are making the contribution knowingly and voluntarily
Contribution limits, source restrictions, and reporting requirements are set by Pennsylvania law. Certain contributor information must be publicly reported — see our Privacy Policy. If you believe a contribution was made in error, email pjhemann@gmail.com and we will work with you and ActBlue to resolve it.
Information you send us
If you send us a message, sign up, or volunteer through this site, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through this website.
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or materials, you grant the Committee a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use them in connection with the campaign, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We are not obligated to use, keep, or return anything you send.
Accuracy of content
We work to keep this site accurate and current, and our Fact Cards cite the public record they rely on. Even so, information can become outdated, and errors are possible. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or professional advice. If you spot something you believe is inaccurate, please tell us at pjhemann@gmail.com and we will review it.
Links to other websites
This site links to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything found there.
Availability
We aim to keep this site available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice.
Disclaimer of warranties
This site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Committee, its candidate, officers, staff, volunteers, and vendors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of your access to or use of this site. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Committee and the people listed above from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your misuse of this site or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
